"From information learnt on the course. We have now put in certain interventions. One that has helped greatly has been the carpet spot. This has helped to prevent the issue child M had with moving around, fidgeting and not sitting still. We also use a hand held spot card for sitting on a chair.

Child M now knows clearly where he should be. This stops the teaching staff from having to keep repeating themselves, and prevents his classmates from irritated by his fidgeting.

We also use a home/school diary for 2 way contact, as it is not always possible to speak with a parent if need be.
