Beyond Our Control
We have already looked at a range of influences on behaviour. Some we can influence, others are completely outside of our control. Some may be currently outside our sphere of influence but with effort and positive thinking perhaps they could be brought under control.
Make a list of what is stopping you from achieving whatever you want to do.
Circle any of those obstacles which are entirely outside your control and forget about them. Focus instead only on those you could possible influence and make a decision to do one positive thing immediately and another tomorrow.
It does not matter how small the action you take – just make sure at the end of the day you can honestly say you have done something.
