Assessing social interaction
Schools are social environments where it is necessary to interact with a large number of people in different contexts. As typically developing young people progress through the school system they have to make a significant adjustment to a very different environment as they progress from primary to secondary school. On reaching adolescence their relationship with their peer group becomes as, or more important, than their relationship with members of their family.
