New RCI MSI course

NatSIP logo

OnlineInset and the National Sensory Impairment Partnership (NatSIP) are working together in partnership to identify and accredit associate tutors to deliver our hearing impairment and visual impairment modules in local authority areas where no current OnLineInset licence is held. This will give access to school staff in these areas to specialist training in working with the sensory impaired.

SENSE logoWe are also working with NatSIP to transfer elements of the existing Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) course in multi-sensory impairment (designed by Sense and the South East Regional Partnership in 2008), into an online format. This will sit alongside the existing OnLineInset modules in hearing impairment and visual impairment. These were developed with NatSIP partners and will form the first stage of the NatSIP training pathway, which is being developed with contributory funding from a DfE grant supporting improved outcomes for children and young people with SEN.
